What is my code?

Can we use that code for more than one class? For the whole school?

Yes. The code is just used to identify the region students come from so you can use one code per class, or one code per school – it doesn’t matter.

How long will it take to do?

Roughly 15 minutes per student.

Do all students have to take part?

No, it is completely voluntary but we would love as many Year 5 – 13 students to take part as possible! Last time over 33,000 took part.

What preparation should I do?

1. Book a computer lab with internet connection for an hour at some point between August 13 and September 30
2. Get your students to make four measurements for Questions 5 – 8. (See the questions here)
3. For younger students, you may need to explain some of the questions beforehand. (See the questions here)

When can we take part?

Any time from August 13 – September 30 between 8am – 5pm on week days.
